Maus in the Community (old)

Maus Nissan and the David Maus Foundation were proud to sponsor this year’s Sporting Clays for Kids Tournament to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tampa Bay. The event took place at the Tampa Bay Sporting Clays facility in Land O’ Lakes with local businesses from the area participating in the event and helping to raise funds and awareness for the charity. The contributions raised will help support the four bay area Ronald McDonald Houses. For more information on RMHC Tampa Bay please visit

One of the key values of the Maus Automotive Group is community involvement. We pride ourselves in supporting those in need and giving back to those who work to make our community a better place to live.

The David Maus Foundation is a non-profit, philanthropic foundation that focuses on helping children with life-threatening illnesses and their families through contributions to charities in the Tampa and central Florida communities that has raised over $1.1 million for charities including The Ronald McDonald Houses of Central Florida, Florida Children’s Hospital, Make A Wish Foundation, Camp Boggy Creek, Autism Society of Greater Orlando and the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America.

Military, police and firefighters risk their lives to amek our community a safer place to live. The Maus Automotive Group feels that these service members deserve to be treated like family, so we offer them preferred pricing on vehicle purchases and service. Additionally, the Maus Automotive Group makes it a point to utilize veteran-owned businesses as third-party vendors whenever possible.

The Maus Automotive Group regularly works with organizations that are making a positive impact on the community. Recent activities include:

– Platinum sponsor of “Movies in the Park”
(A family event series hosted by Citrus County Parks and Recreation)
– Blood Donation location every three months for the One Blood Big Red Bus
– Annual Toys for Tots toy drive
– SPCA pet adoption event
